September's Wine
Whenever we can, Pastini sources wines from smaller producers in Italy. This month we have a wonderful wine of the month for you, a 2006 reserve called "Biferno Riserva" from the Casa Contini winery. You won’t see this in any other restaurant or retail shop. Pastini received the only 65 cases sent to the NW, and we're passing on this smashing value to our customers. This Southern Italian blend is wonderfully smooth and balanced. Made from two of our favorite "underrated" varietals, Montepulciano and Aglianico, it is atypical of many of its ungainly Southern counterparts, which can be a bit overripe. Instead, it is almost Northern Italian in its smoothness, with a smoky blackberry, chestnut and peppery-sweet aroma. A steal at $6.50/glass and $24/ bottle.

Sunday Dinner Special at Pastini
Two years ago we created an affordable way to go out on Sunday, the Pastini Sunday Dinner. In the tradition of Italian-American immigrants who gathered with their families for leisurely Sunday feasts, you and your friends or family can enjoy a delicious three course meal for only $12.50. It includes your choice of our housemade soup or a crisp Caesar or Insalata Verde, any Pastini classic pasta*, and a rich, decadent Petite Tiramisu. An Italian grandmother would be proud...and jealous! No hot stove or dishes to do. We’ll make the meatballs, chop the garlic and simmer the sauce, you just relax and enjoy. Join us at Pastini on Sunday (anytime, the Sunday Dinner special is available all day) for an old-fashioned experience at an old-fashioned price, what could be better? *Does not include Pasta Specials
Busy? Take Home Pastini
The start of the school year sometimes doesn't leave much time for cooking. But, when you want food fast, don’t settle for fast food. Just call Pastini. Your order will be made to order and ready for pickup in about 10 minutes. It will be made with wholesome, fresh, local ingredients instead of deep fried. Crisp salads, authentic pastas, grilled panini and delicious rustic sandwiches, all in the Italian tradition. Call for takeout at your local Pastini. When you get your Pastini take out, you'll be happy to see that our pasta containers are made with 40% less plastic, and are microwavable to 250 degrees. And our salad boxes are compostable! They're made from corn, a renewable resource, and will break down when composted in municipal and industrial composting facilities. Read more here about Green Pastini.
